Chito and TJ,
I just wanted to give you both a huge thanks for your hospitality last week at El Pinoy! I'm very sorry this took me a week to get out, but this is first time I've been able to sit down at computer since getting home. VERY sick. My family had a wonderful time and the time flew by. You guys are running a first class operation, you blew away my expectations. The staff was awesome and food was wonderful. I've never seen Seiko eat so much; and she is a great cook! I think your model of targeting Chinese speaking visitors is the way to go, as you seemed to be the only busy operation along the entire coast.
I've just started work on the pictures and will tag and logo them as much as I'm allowed per individual site rules. There are going to be some real good ones from that week. I focused on shooting things face on. Creating a collection I'm calling “Faces of Anilao”. Has anyone ever done a good guidebook for that area? I know there is one for PG that is pretty good (I've got it), but never seen any Anilao. If not that may be a project I pursue and would love to work with you guys and your guides on it.
I look forward to seeing you both in Manila in a few months. I'm planning on shooting more while down there, but no firm idea where or how long yet. Let me know what shots you want when you see them posted. I'll bring down everything I've finished on disk with me too when I come down. Especially any big high rez shots you want as those files can be too massive to send reliably.
Many thanks and look forward to diving with you in the future!

"Very nice resort, we will be back"
El Pinoy Dive and Leisure is a great place especially for divers. It is also a nice and relaxing place because of the amazing view of the ocean.
Food was great and the staffs were nice and very accommodating. I will definitely go back, this time with my family :)Lara P.
"Enjoyed my stay here! Great diving!"
Rooms were great! TV in the common area. Wifi only in the common area.
Staff was very friendly and helpful! They had a full house, but we never felt like they were too busy for us.
We were very impressed with our room - it was huge and very clean! We had a balcony and beautiful views from all the windows.
Our DM Rolly was amazing! He made an extra effort to be sure all our dives (nine of them) were all special. Great time!
This place is best if you just want to dive a lot. There is a pool, but not much else to entertain non-divers.Lori G from Los Angeles, California
"Pleasant, comfortable and affordable dive haven"
El Pinoy is a well-planned resort for divers and non-divers. The tariff is an all-inclusive package for accommodation and meals, with rental of dive equipment, boat hire added on. Lovely dive area. Service good and accommodating.
Don't mind the 200 plus steps that lead from parking area to resort. Thank goodness for the well placed bench stops and the lads who help with baggage!Teresa C.
"Memorable of 6 diving sessions"
I went to the International Diving Expo 2014 and simply bought the 5D4N stay in this resort. When I first stepped at the Manila Airport on Monday, i was quite worried because it was my first solo diving trip and i was scared there's no one to pick me up there. But everything changed as Mr Chito (dive master) waited for me at the arrival gate. He was so friendly. The diving resort was so calm and the staffs were all friendly, which i felt like home. I decided to dive on the next day (Tuesday), and the following days which were Wednesday and Thursday. Two diving sessions per day. As divers already known, Anilao is so famous with their small nudibranch. So i had seen so many different types of them. We also went to the wreckage of floating casino, underwater hot spring and underwater graveyard. I felt like it was my private solo diving trip as i went down with the dive master who gave me his 100% attention. Besides, the meal was awesome. I had to request for no rice in the morning before the diving trip. They provided me with bread, yogurt, salad, fruits, soup and etc. If you feel like wanna have an EatSleepDive trip, this is the trip that i would suggest. On the last day, they even wait me at the mall to send me back to the airport. But don't forget to put aside a bit of your money for the diving permission fee because i only knew when i want to check out from the hotel.Superb_drive (Bangsar, Ilocos Norte)
